About Me – Farhoon Asim

My name is Farhoon Asim, and my journey is rooted in resilience, opportunity, and the belief that borders are not stop signs—they are speed bumps.

I was born in Karachi, Pakistan, and moved to the UK in 2016 as an international student. Like many others, I faced the challenges of adapting to a new culture, overcoming homesickness, and navigating the UK job market with no professional network. After more than 500 rejections, I finally secured a visa-sponsored graduate role at KPMG UK. That moment shaped my career and proved that persistence, combined with the right strategy, can open doors.

After KPMG, I served as Growth Lead at Raindrop, a fintech startup, where I helped scale revenue from £6 million to £20 million in just over a year. However, my bigger mission was to create a pathway for other international students to succeed where I once struggled.

I am now the Founder & CEO of The UK Job Institute, a structured platform that helps international graduates secure visa-sponsored jobs in the UK. To date, I have helped over 150 students land competitive roles, and my goal is to support more than 1,000 students by 2026.

Alongside this, I am a TEDx speaker, delivering the talk “Turning ‘I’m an International Student’ Into a Superpower.” I have built a community of more than 79,000 learners on LinkedIn, with my career strategies reaching millions of people worldwide.

My philosophy is straightforward:

  • No shortcuts, only systems – CVs tailored for Applicant Tracking Systems, targeted outreach, and structured interview preparation.
  • Affordable and transparent coaching designed specifically for international graduates.
  • Proof, not promises – strategies rooted in real results and lived experience.

At my core, I am an international graduate who once struggled to find a way forward. Today, my mission is to ensure that others can achieve success with clarity, confidence, and the right guidance.
